Love scary movies? This horror Valentine wreath is perfect for you! This is a sponsored post with StyleTech Craft vinyl, but all ideas and opinions are my own.
Get your spook on with this Friday the 13th themed horror Valentine wreath. Valentine’s Day isn’t just for romance….it’s a day to show your love for your passions, like scary movies! If you love Halloween and spooky stuff like I do, show it off this Valentine’s Day!
The wreath is a basic Deco Mesh base, and you can learn how to make that here. Once I had the base completed, it was time to embellish the wreath! I opted for Ultra Metallic vinyl from StyleTech Craft, because the intense shine paired perfectly with the Jason mask and bloody blade.
Horror Valentine Wreath Supplies
- Wreath Form
- Red and Black Deco Mesh
- Wood board
- Wood hearts
- Ultra Metallic Vinyl in Red, black, and white
- Jason Mask (I got this four pack)
- Toy knife
Cut the lettering from the vinyl and weed it. Use transfer tape and a smoothing tool to cover the wood piece with vinyl (this is SO MUCH faster than painting!) and transfer the letters.
Trace the wood hearts onto the back of the vinyl sheets. Cut out the hearts.
Transfer the heart vinyl to the wood. Use a craft knife to trim off excess vinyl if needed.
I used hot glue to attach chenille stems to the backs of the wood pieces. Then I twisted the stems around the mesh. This way I can remove the Valentine pieces later if I want to re-use this wreath for Halloween.
It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day, don’t you think? Have fun crafting and creating Valentine decor for yourself or for your fiends and family!
