This project is addicting!  Once you get the hang of it you won’t want to stop making these gorgeous wire wrapped bead rings.  They’re so quick to make  that I ended up making almost a dozen in just an hour.  This project would make a pretty last minute gift, and it’s also a great group project for tweens and teens to make.  I used $1 bead bags and wire that I found in the craft section of Walmart, which makes this project really affordable for large groups.

Create beautiful wire wrapped rings in minutes!

  1. What gauge of wire did you use? Have you worn the rings? Does the wire turn your fingers green? Cute idea I do want to make some just need to know what kind of wire to buy.

    • Thanks! Those are great questions and I updated the post to add that info. I used 20 gauge wire from a colored wire craft pack. The colored wire did not turn my daughter’s fingers green, but she doesn’t wear them for more than a few hours at a time. I hope that helps!
