Supplies Used: (affiliate links included)
- Pencil .svg file (download here)
- Silhouette Cameo — Starter Bundle
- Silhouette Stamping Starter Kit
- Acrylic stamping block
- Ink
Step one: Download the cut file. Resize as needed. Use the text tool to add a name to the image.
Step two: Place the stamp material on the stamp cutting mat. Feed it into the Silhouette.
Step three: Use the settings for Stamp materials on your Silhouette to cut the stamp out.
Step four: Start to weed the cut image. First, take off the large sheet. Then remove each part of the stamp and place it on the acrylic block.
Note: If you’ve never used the stamp making material before, start with a simpler, more solid shape, like THIS one. All the little pieces on this stamp make it a bit time consuming, but worth the effort!

I love this! I’ve not tried the stamp material before (because I didn’t know they had a stamp material?!) but how fun to create your own custom stamps! Great project and I know your daughter is going to just love stamping her name everywhere!

I really love this idea. But can you do the same thing with a cricut? Where do you get the stamp material?
Morena says
I bet it would work in a Cricut. The stamp material is Silhouette brand…click on the link in my supply list on the tutorial to see the starter kit on Amazon. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
