Create your own version of an elegant dog bed by using thrifted items from Goodwill San Antonio. This is a sponsored post but all ideas and opinions are my own.
I was reading recently about how a luxury brand dog mattress is made, and the designers explained that dogs instinctively paw at the ground or their beds before they lay down. For this reason, they had extra fabric and a bit of plush filler on the top layer of their very expensive dog mattress so dogs had something to paw at. I kept this information in mind when I designed this bed, so I wrapped the comfy foam in batting and added a light layer of filling to make the bed as inviting as possible.

Love this idea!! I don’t have a dog, if I get one some day, I have to keep this in mind. I love that the “larger” pieces were thrifted items. As always, thanks for sharing.

Thank you! Honestly, the piece is so sturdy I was tempted to use it as a settee or something. It would work in a mudroom or other area where you need storage\seating.
