This quick April Fool’s day prank will surprise young kids!
I love to prank my kids for April Fool’s Day. My fake roach prank was my first post to go really big for me! This year I kept things really simple. I bought a bag of foiled covered chocolates at the grocery store, along with some grapes. All I could find were really round ones, unfortunately, but if you can find smaller, oval shaped grapes this prank will work better.
Carefully unwrap the chocolate egg, then wrap the grape with the foil. Save the chocoalte to enjoy later!
Arrange the grapes in an Easter basket and set them out. Wait for your kids to notice! My older sons were suspicious right away, but my 6 year old totally fell for it. He was so excited to see the candy in the bow, and when he unwrapped it to find a grape, the confused look on his face was priceless. I wish I would have filmed him. I still giggle when I think about his expression!
This prank works this year since Easter is on April Fool’s day. You could add a few of these to your Easter egg hunt or to Easter baskets and have some fun with the kids. I have a bunch of other fun pranks for you to try, too!
