This retro-inspired cassette love shaker card is a blast from the past! This is a sponsored post with Maker’s Movement.
The second I saw this new release from Maker’s Movement I just HAD TO HAVE IT! Cassette tapes hold so many wonderful memories for me. How many hours were spent rewinding and fast forwarding to hear a favorite song? I have crafted before with retro cassette tape images, when I made this really fun “old school” tote bag. Now with this die and stamp set I can make a bunch of retro paper crafts, too!
The not so fun part about cassette tapes was when the cassette tape would get caught and your cassette was either ruined or you had to grab a pencil and start winding those gears. I used those old memories to come up with this design. In this case, the cassette tape that got pulled out formed a heart shape that is full of cheerful images (and in my case, memories!)
Here’s a brief video tutorial where I give you an up close look at the products (those shaker sprinkles!!!) and step by step instructions so you can make this fun card, too!

I’m excited about the idea of making wall art using this versatile die and stamp set. The cassette die cut is the perfect size for making gift tags, too. They would look cute hanging on a gift bag! Or maybe even decorate a gift bag with a bunch of different colored cassette tapes to create a pattern.
