Step two: Paint both the candleholder and the doll head with Ivory spray paint. Let the first application dry before adding another layer of spray paint. The photo shows my attempt at painting it with a chalk paint. I worried that the paint would flake off, so I washed it off and spray painted the items instead.
Step three: (Optional) Seal the paint. I used a spray on clear matte sealant.
Step four: Place the battery operated light inside the base of the doll head. Set the head on the candle holder.
If you want to hide the base of the doll’s head, embellish it with a feather boa or lace ribbon.
This glowing head lamp is definitely an attention getter! I think it could be used year round and not just for Halloween, don’t you think?
