Step four: Use a Xyron Creative Station to add adhesive to the Oly-Fun fabric. Peel the fabric off the backing and adhere the strips to the birdhouses.
Step five: Paint the wood shelf. Let the paint dry.
Step six: Use alphabet stencils to spell the word “welcome” on the sign. Use a fine tipped brush to fill in the letters with paint.
Step seven: Arrange the birdhouses as desired on top of the shelf and hot glue them in place.
Step eight: Use hot glue to add the butterflies to the houses and the shelves.
I tied a knots on both ends of a piece of twine and used my staple gun to attach the twine to the back of the shelf to be able to hang the piece. This will add a fun pop of color to my garden. It would be a fun way to welcome guests to your front porch, too! For more easy DIY projects, check out THIS post. Have fun crafting and creating colorful decor for your home this spring!
