This glove hanging decor DIY is a cute way to add some woodlands whimsy to your holiday decorating.
Welcome to day EIGHT of my 12 days of Christmas crafts series! These quick projects are perfect for crafters of all levels. I made these with families and kids in mind, because the holidays are such a great time for everyone to craft together. I hope you’ll enjoy these activities on your own or with friends and family.
The 12 projects all feature items given to me by Oriental Trading Company. Check out my Instagram feed and stories to get the scoop on their latest deals along with codes for free shipping.
Supplies Used to make Glove Hanging Decor DIY
- White theater gloves
- Woodlands animal ornaments
- Assorted embellishments like buttons and jewelry bits
- Lace scrap
- Moss
- Stick
- Mini pine cone
- Hot Glue gun
The gloves come with a cardboard insert. Leave that in there. If you don’t have one, cut a piece of cardboard to fit in the center of the glove, so it won’t collapse on itself.
Glue the lace piece onto the glove. Wrap it around and secure it on the back with glue.
Hot glue the animal ornament inside the opening of the glove. Add moss and the pine cone to give it a forest feel.
Glue embellishments on the fingers of the glove. I dug through my stash to find items I thought fit the scene, like flowers and butterflies.
Glue the ornament loop to a branch. I used an artificial branch, but you can use a real one, too.
Hang your pretty glove hanging decor DIY up to decorate for the holidays! I hope you’ll enjoy all twelve of my family friendly crafts! See the list below for all of the projects.
