12 Days of Christmas Crafts Day 1: Woodland Wreath DIY
Today I’m kicking off 12 days of Christmas crafts! These quick projects are perfect for crafters of all levels. I made these with families and kids in mind, because the holidays are such a great time for everyone to craft together. I hope you’ll enjoy these activities on your own or with friends and family.
The 12 projects all feature items given to me by Oriental Trading Company. Check out my Instagram feed and stories to get the scoop on their latest deals along with codes for free shipping.
Supplies Used to Make the Woodland Wreath DIY:
- 12 inch wreath
- Bird Ornaments
- Ornamental Berry Sprig
- Hot Glue Glun
First fluff up the branches on the wreath. I like to separate them and point them forward and out.
Place the ornamental berry sprig on the bottom of the wreath. Use lots of hot glue to attach the branch to the wreath firmly. You might want to put wax paper or something similar to protect your work surface, as the hot glue sometimes drips through the branches.
Arrange the ornaments as desired. I love how cute and cheery these little birds are! They look so cute with their tiny hats. Once you like the arrangement, use hot glue to hold them in place.
My wreath came with a bow on it already. If you don’t have one you can make or purchase a bow to add to the top.
Wasn’t that quick and simple to make? This wreath would look great on a mantle. I like to put mine on the pantry door, to add some holiday cheer to the kitchen. Check back each day for the next easy to make Christmas craft! I’ll update the list below as I add projects each day.
