Make a wood round ornament DIY. This is a very quick and pretty craft to make.
Welcome to day TEN of my 12 days of Christmas crafts series! These quick projects are perfect for crafters of all levels. I made these with families and kids in mind, because the holidays are such a great time for everyone to craft together. I hope you’ll enjoy these activities on your own or with friends and family.
The 12 projects feature items given to me by Oriental Trading Company. Check out my Instagram feed and stories to get the scoop on their latest deals along with codes for free shipping.
Supplies Used to Make this Wood Round Ornament DIY:
- Wood Rounds
- Vinyl stickers from Oriental Trading Co.
- White Paint
- Ribbon
- Glue Gun
Paint the wood round with white paint. Don’t paint the outermost ring of the round. Keep that part natural. It creates a pretty frame around the message. Let the paint dry.
Cut out the phrase that you want to use. The great thing about these stickers is they are perfect if you don’t have a vinyl cutting machine or don’t have time to cut your own phrases. The work has already been done for you! Place the sticker on the wood round and rub firmly.
Peel the backing off carefully to reveal the phrase. Hot glue a loop of ribbon to the back of the wood round ornament DIY so you can hang it up.
I hope you’ll enjoy all twelve of my family friendly crafts! See the list below for all of the projects.
