Make wine glass snow globes to decorate with. They also make fun ornaments!
Welcome to day SEVEN of my 12 days of Christmas crafts series! These quick projects are perfect for crafters of all levels. I made these with families and kids in mind, because the holidays are such a great time for everyone to craft together. I hope you’ll enjoy these activities on your own or with friends and family.
The 12 projects all feature items given to me by Oriental Trading Company. Check out my Instagram feed and stories to get the scoop on their latest deals along with codes for free shipping.
Supplies Used to Make Wine Glass Snow Globes:
- Disposable plastic wine glasses
- Assorted miniatures (mine are from Goodwill San Antonio)
- Fake Snow
- Evergreen branch
- Pine cones (mini)
- Hot Glue gun
The wine glasses are already disassembled. You won’t need to assemble them. First hot glue a mini bottle brush tree to the center of the base for the wine glass.
Hot glue miniatures around the bottle brush tree to create a little winter scene. I found these assorted minis in a bag at Goodwill. They are tiny enough to fit in the glass. Make sure the elements will fit before you glue them!
Pour some artificial snow in the wine glass bulb. Turn the decorated base upside down and hot glue it into the wine glass. Flip it over.
Decorate the nub on top with greenery and mini acorns. Glue a loop of twine on top if you plan to use this as an ornament.
I hope you’ll enjoy all twelve of my family friendly crafts! See the list below for all of the projects.
