This lollipop decor DIY is a fun, kid-friendly project.
Welcome to day THREE of my 12 days of Christmas crafts series! These quick projects are perfect for crafters of all levels. I made these with families and kids in mind, because the holidays are such a great time for everyone to craft together. I hope you’ll enjoy these activities on your own or with friends and family.
The 12 projects all feature items given to me by Oriental Trading Company. Check out my Instagram feed and stories to get the scoop on their latest deals along with codes for free shipping.
Supplies Used to Make this Lollipop DIY:
- Mini throwing disks
- White Paint
- Glitter
- Craft Sticks
- Clear Plastic Gift Bags
- Hot Glue Gun
Paint swirl designs on the mini discs/frisbees. Start in the center and make a dot. Create a shape like the letter “c” and continue going around and around until you reach the end of the disc. You could also use white paint markers or white chalk markers to do this.
While the paint is still wet, sprinkle coarse glitter onto the disks. I like this one because it looks like sugar, which is perfect for sweet decor!
Paint craft sticks white to look like lollipop sticks.
Hot glue the sticks onto the backs of the painted discs.
Wrap the “lollipops” with clear plastic, and tie the end with a twisty tie. Glue a loop of twine to the back so you can hang the lollipops up. I put these on a tree to use as ornaments, but you can use them to make a sweet pennant banner, too. They would make fun party decor, too!
I hope you’ll enjoy all twelve of my family friendly crafts! See the list below for all of the projects.
